A massive well done to Gail Hardingham for competing the London Landmarks half marathon. Gail finished in 2.03.29 although, for Gail, it wasn’t all about the time but raising funds for “Aching Arms” in memory of her grandson Neako.

Southern Counties U/15 5k Championships
Billy Eccles had a brilliant run to finish 3rd overall in a massive diamond standard pb time of 16.34. With 400m’s to go he was lying in 4th place and 40m behind but pulled off an epic finish to reel him in and take the third spot. Well done Billy – excellent run.
EACCL Final Cross Country Race
In the final race in the series Laurie and Peter Woods were the only two BVH who turned out to battle the muddy conditions at Catton. Over the complete series Laurie was second overall and the first junior. Well done to all the other members who have competed in previous races.

It looks like the marathon training is going well for Tom and Matthew as both had excellent runs in the WAC 20 miler. Blickling Half Marathon – March 2023
We had two runners at the Blickling Half. The extra training Paul Ward has been doing lately certainly paid off as he finished in a diamond standard pb time of 1.27.59! Steph Laurence also had a great run to finish in a golden standard pb time of 1.37.51. Well done both.

Inter-counties Essex 20 Miler – March 2023
At the inter-counties Essex 20 mile race, Michael Eccles, representing Norfolk, had an outstanding run finishing first Norfolk scorer, 5th overall and 1st 40-44 in a platinum pb time of 1.49.40. and this was a new club record! Well done Michael!
Cambridge Half Marathon – March 2023
Four members went over for the Cambridge Half Marathon.
