Michael Eccles, in what was a very competitive race and on a hard 10k course, had an outstanding run to finish first overall in 33.28.
An extra long hill had been added this year and Michael said it was the hardest hill he has ever encountered so, coming from him, it must have been tough. Plus they had to run up it twice!!
Simon Partridge and Richard Johnson also had great runs which helped the trio secure 4th team spot in the 40-49 age group. Simon Partridge was 17th in 38.23, Richard Johnson 19th in 39.00. Matt Stone running in the 50+ age category ran hard to finish 16th in 41.42. Well done and great running by all.
