Reedham 10 Mile results – February 2023

We had to wait an extra couple of weeks for the Reedham 10 Mile race, which was postponed at the end of January because of cold weather and icy roads, but what a great result for all nine members running. We had five PBs, four people running the distance for the first time and five medal winners.

Michael Eccles ran a fantastic race to finish the overall winner and County Champion in a platinum standard and BVH PB time of 52.44. Michael also smashed the course record and achieved a new club record.

Simon Partridge ran a 3 minute PB, won the second male 40-44 race prize, third male 40-44 male County medal and ran a platinum standard time of 58.18.

Simon Bales, in his first 10 mile race, ran a diamond standard time of 60.34.

Johno, ran a diamond standard BVH PB time of 61.01.

These four between them won the race veteran male team prize and were the V40 County Team Champions (it was a bit of a nail biter waiting for the results).

Tom Jordan ran a 3 minute PB finishing in a gold standard 61.45.

Matthew Crane Also ran a gold standard PB of 69.00.

Joanne Watkins running her first 10 mile race, ran a diamond standard time of 69.20. Joanne won the second senior woman race prize and a County bronze medal.

Fran Cooke running her first 10 mile race was delighted to win the 40-44 race prize in a diamond standard time of 71.39.

Peggy Baldwin also running the distance for the first time ran a silver standard time of 77.45.
