Billy Eccles was on a mission to beat his Dad’s 5 mile time which he ran at almost the same age when he was 15.
Unfortunately he missed it by 3 seconds. This was Billy’s first 5 mile race and he finished first under 20 in a gold standard 30.11.
Dad Michael didn’t do too bad either, finishing second overall in 25.54.
