Cheshire 5k 2021
Callum Bowen-jones competed in top class field at the Cheshire 5k which was won in 13.48. Callum’s was 23rd overall in a new BVH club record time of 14.55. Excellent run Callum. Well done.

Edale Ring of Hell Half Marathon
This was a toughie !! Although it states half marathon it was, in fact, 16.2 miles with definitley more ups than downs but Katherine Garwood had a great run to finish in 4 hours 1 min. In Katherine‘s words “It was tough in places but the views and lovely people more than made up for it – loved every minute!!”
London landmarks 10k
Well done to Bob Carter who ran a silver standard pb of 1.59.12 which is 5 mins quicker than his previous best time. This was Bob’s first half marathon as a 60 year old.
Asics London 10k 2021
On a very hot and humid day Simon Bales finished first in the 45-49 age group running a one second pb in a diamond standard time of 37.00. Well done Simon.
Dinosaur Dash 2021
It was a great evening for BVH at the Dinosaur Park and so nice to catch up with everyone too. The course was a rather testing one which included twisting trails with a few nasty hills thrown in too. Olympic Park 5k July 2021
Callum Bowen-jones was the easy winner of the Olympic park 5k in an excellent time of 15.29. It wasn’t a particulary fast course especially with long grass at the start and finish plus the extreme heat didn’t help either.
