This was an impromtu run and not part of Simon’s original holiday plan so he took on the 20k distance more for enjoyment than anything else. He still finished in an excellent time of 1.19.36. The Virgin London Marathon 2018

On what must have been an ordeal running the London Marathon, which was the hottest one on record, both Craig Bowen-Jones and Jonathan Foot had excellent runs. They didn’t get the times they were aiming for but certainly did themselves and the club really proud. Everyone at BVH were concerned about the conditions and were so pleased to see them cross…

Manchester Marathon 2018

Fakenham 5k 2018

The Fakenham 5k turned out to be a pretty hard race with 5 loops and numerous inclines and sharp bends. The front runners had to overtake the back runners on each loop, as did the lead cyclist, which proved rather difficult. It certainly wasn’t a fast course but our 6 members ran a great race with the following results. Sam…

As the photo shows the conditions were very hard with mud from…

Cambridge Half Marathon 2018

The severe weather conditions obvioulsy hadn’t hit Cambridge as badly as Norfolk as the roads were relatively snow free. We were dreading the freezing temperatures but in the end the conditions were more or less perfect which made for excellent times for the two BVH members running. Sam Coyne certainly made use of the hard winter training with an outstanding…
