Michael Eccles was 24th overall, 9th V40 and 3rd V40 for England. His time for the tough 8k course was 26.16.
Their England team were second in the M40 category with a total, on position, of 27, beaten by the Scottish vets by only 3 points. The Irish masters were 3rd (32 points), Welsh masters 4th (84 points) and Northern Ireland Masters 5th (90 points)
It was a great run by Michael although he was still feeling the effects of the Snowdonia Marathon. If he does get selected again next year I doubt Snowdonia will be on his to do list !!
