Craig Bowen-Jones was first home for the club in 1.25.21, also winning his age category (M45+) and a BVH pb. That was a good way to celebrate your birthday Craig. You may have won some Sportlink vouchers too!!
Steve Cannell was next in 1.26.21 with Sam Coyne just behind in 1.26 53. Both were struggling with the heat and had a bit of a walk on the way round. Adrian Jay was the fourth scorer for the men in 1.47.18.
The ladies all ran well with Sarah Stubbs 1.45.12, Vhari King 1.49.21, Sarah Jay 1.59.02 and Karyn Bray 2.11.09. Vhari was using this race as a last run before The London Marathon and Sarah Jay as a build up for her half iron-man later in the year. Karyn was running with her son, Matt, to help him through his first half marathon after a long illness. Well done Matt.
In the team results the ladies outdid the boys by winning the 3rd team prize with the boys finishing 9th. Good running all.
