Norfolk Cross Country Championships
The weather was pretty perfect for our 15 members taking part in the annual cross country champs at Thetford. The senior and veteran men ran 10.8k, the under 20 men 8.4k and the senior and vet ladies and under 20 ladies 6.8k. We came away with 3 individual county medals and one team medal. The first race of the year saw success for three of our members. Chris Mickleburgh was 1st senior man in a new pb time of 34.29. Shouldham Warren 6.5k
There was some great running by the eleven BVH members today on the Shouldham 6.5k course wirh seven coming away with medals. Ryan Davidson just missed out on first place by one second but he shouldn’t be disappointed as he ran a great pb time of 21.23. Brighton 10k & St Neot’s Half Marathon
In “The Brighton 10k” Hannah Stone knocked over 2 minutes off her pb finishing in 45.39. Well done Hannah – great running. Chris Mickleburgh and Matthew Crane both ran the “St Neots Half Marathon” with Chris finishing in 1.18.29 and Matthew running an excellent pb by over 3 minutes in 1.34.45. Well done lads.
