We had two members running in the Mike Groves 10k race on Sunday 10th March:
Stephen Lee, running in the BVH vest for the first time, had, not only, the rain to contend with but the usual strong windy conditions. Stephen, who is on his way back from injury, finished in a gold standard 42.12. This was over 2 minutes faster than his run at the Valentine 10k in February so things are going in the right direction.
Paul Woodyatt ,who has also been suffering from a few problems, did say he’d “probably finish on Monday” 😅 but ran much faster to finish in 1.15.50.
