It wasn’t a surprise there were no personal best times today in the very windy conditions and we’re not suprised either that some members decided not to run. We know some were disappointed with the times but we doubt there were many pb’s out there today.
The best part of the day was seeing Michael Eccles coming round the final bend, neck and neck with a CONAC runner, and then put in an excellent sprint finish to be the outright winner. Not bad for a 44 year old. Michael’s time was 1.13.10 just 90 seconds short of the London Marathon championship entry time.
Jack Noble 1.21.42.
Tom Jordan 1.25.27.
Simon Bales 1.26.48.
Steven Elvin, running his first Half Marathon for BVH, had another great run to finish 2nd 60+ in a platinum standard time of 1.28.06.
Matthew Crane 1.39.28
Alastair Leckie 1.46.03
Cee Cook 1.52.59
Declan Nicol running his first race for BVH ran 1.53.43.
Well done all. Great to watch!
