We had 11 members out for this Easter Sunday race. This race is a great for spectators but not so good for the runners as it’s 5 laps with a hill thrown in and on a very twisting course, plus the front runners have to keep lapping the not so fast runners, so it’s certainly not a pb course. Although Eleanor Chapman equalled her pb and Belle Watkins ran a BVH pb!
We had a double whammy with Michael Eccles, the first man, and Leanne Finch the first lady plus Joanne Watkins was third lady. To add to the tally we were the first men’s team (Michael, Michael Swindells and Lee Quibell) and first ladies team (Leanne, Joanne and Eva Eccles). The individual results were:
