East Coast 10k 2019

The new course this year proved difficult for some of the runners and the strong head wind along the promenade didn’t helpers matters, hence, why most of the times were slower than expected.

Michael Eccles, in the awards once agian, was second overall in 34:15.

Colin Robilliard, as usuaul, ran hard to finish first in the M65+ age group in a time of 43:30.

Sabina Spence was also in the awards, as is the norm, winning the W45+ category in 43:33.

Luke Guy in his first race for BVH and hoping to break 40mins ran 40:00 !!

Louise Paterson running her first 10k for the club finished in 47:36. Husband Luke running his first race for BVH finished in 50:02.

Jonathan Foot, in his fist 10k as a 60+, and on a mission to break 50 mins ran 48:08.

Leanne Botwright was obviously on a high from winning the club LM place as she ran a pb time of 50:29.

Paul Ward in a battle with Luke Guy down the home straight ran 40:05

Laurie Woods and Matthew Crane suffering from the dreaded BVH cold ran 43:05 and 43:21 respectively
