Billy Eccles had an outstanding run on the very hard Parliament Hills course and with some tough competition to contend with. Out of a field of 50 athletes, and at one point lying in 16th position, he used his strength and determination to fight his way back to finish 10th overall in 21.01. He was running a year down so will still compete in this age group next year.
