Emily Jordan running the 10k and after her non-running over the last 4 weeks due to a persistent achilles problem and a bad cold still finsihed in a very creditable 53.23.
Brother Tom, running the marathon for the first time for BVH, was on for a sub 3.30 up to the 35k marker but, as we all know, the last few miles can be a killer. He did finish with a smile on his face, or possibly a grimace, in a bronze standard 3.40.07.
