The GEAR 10k, one of Norfolk’s big races, was held in King Lynn on Sunday 1 May.
As usual this race proved to be a fast course and the weather was kind too.

We had 5 members taking part in the main race:
Michael Eccles was 2nd overall and first V40 in 32.14.
Jack Noble was 8th overall and 5th senior man in a diamond standard pb of 34.19.
Richard Johnson was on pacing duty but still ran a diamond standard pb of 36.49. Makes you wonder what he could have done ?
Sally Porter ran 58.00 very near to her age best.
Geoff Porter under instructions to run very easy ran 1.22.25.

In the Mini Gear Billy Eccles was first overall and Eva Eccles was first girl.
