The last of the Great Yarmouth 5 miles series started off in ideal conditions but ended up with a bit of a head wind on the way to the finish which made the going rather tough.
Michael Eccles, running his first 5 mile for the club, ran a diamond standard time of 27.44 finishing in 6th place overall. As Michael said afterwards, once he gets race fit and back into full training, his times will gradually improve.
Jack Noble, also in his first 5 miler for BVH, ran a gold standard 30.23.
Arron Coe was a bit disappointed with his silver standard time of 32.35 even though it was a 46 second pb.
Gail Hardingham, on her third attempt at cracking the 40 minute barrier, ran a diamond standard 39.46. This may have been due to the fact that she had a new pace maker😉. Gail was also first in her age group and the ladies 60+ series winner.
Well done all – great running.
