What a great turn out of 16 BVH’ers tonight at the annual Worstead 5 miler. A big warm welcome to new members, Tessa Jones, Lorraine Marshall and Sabina Spence who were running in club colours for the first time. What an excellent run they had too, with Sabina winning the FV45 category in a diamond standard time of 34.24 and Tessa, also in a diamond standard, finishing 2nd in the FV50 age group in 34.55. Lorraine also had a great run to finish in a gold standard time of 38.34.
Sam Coyne, who, up to late in the afternoon wasn’t expecting to run, and after a hard training session the day before finished 4th overall and 3rd senior man in 27.36. Only 15 secs short of his pb.
Scott Walford, running with an injury, still won another trophy finishing 2nd MV45 in a diamond standard 29.19. This also gave Scott the 45 age club record.
Colin Robilliard ran a diamond standard time of 33.25 winning the 2nd MV60 trophy.
Personal bests were achieved by Dan Porter(37.38),Becky Saunders (47.13), Alexandra Haswell (48.06), James Goff (48.07).
