Twilight 5k Ipswich – Friday evening
In a top quality field Billy Eccles ran a platinum pb time of 15.23 – just one second outside of his Dad, Michael’s, best time.
Mini-Marathon
Billy was selected to run the mini marathon which was held the day before the London Marathon. He lined up for the 2.6k with the best from all the counties top runners. He ran a time of 7min 48 secs.
Aylsham 10k
Alastair Leckie running his first 10k as a 45-49 ran a diamond standard 39.02
Cee Cook ran a minute gold standard pb time of 45.04 and was first F40-44
Belle Watkins running on tired legs still ran a silver standard pb time of 47.27 and was first Junior female
Beth King knowing the course was a toughie today decided to go for a pb at Gorleston on Saturday which she achieved in 24.24 and was first 45+ but still had a good run today finishing in 50.54
Gear 10k
Lee Quibell ran a diamond standard pb time of 38.08
Shaun Hurr ran a gold standard pb time of 41.04
Sam Smith ran a silver standard pb time of 46.35
Sally Porter just proving she could still run 10k without stopping ran 1.20.09
