Well done to all the 18 members who ran the Valentine 10k on Sunday 11th Feb. The running conditions were good although there were a few puddles to skip through. At least the shoes had a good clean !!
There were so many near p.b. misses but as this is the first 10k of the season there is plenty of time to rectify that. In total there were 4 personal best times and 3 age best times.
The star of today was our youngster, Eleanor Chapman, who ran a massive 8 minute pb. She continues to improve with every race and has a lot more to come in the future.
Steven Elvin had another good run in the 60+ age group finishing in 2nd place.
