BVH had a lot of success today at the Humpty Dumpty 10k which also incorporated the County Championships.
Carl Goose had a fantastic run finishing second overall in a pb and new club record of 32.44. In the senior men’s category Sam Coyne picked up the 3rd place trophy running 35.12 and was closely followed by Steve Cannell in 35.35. Getting his racing head back on and next in for the seniors was Frazer Heasman running 37.58. This gave the quartet the Gold County Team prize.
Not to be outdone by the seniors, the veterans also came away with a few hard earned trophies. Lawrence Wade was 1st vet 40 winning the County Gold medal for his age group in a pb time of 35.47. John Baxter (40.47) was 3rd vet 55 and Graham Cox (49.24) 3rd vet 65.
Mathew Crane continues to improve running a pb time of 42.49.
