Scott Walford once again proved that hard work does pay off by finishing first overall and in a pb time of 34.34. Not bad on a windy and hilly Course and for a 47 year old!!
Sabina Spence, running her first 10k for the club, finished 2nd in the 45+ age category in 43.45- missing out on first spot by 1 second. Just an extra sprint would have done it Sabina. This gave Sabina the ladies club 45+ record.
Young Dan Porter also ran a pb taking 4 minutes off his time to run 50.45. Mum and Dad, Sally and Geoff, had a battle, with Geoff outdoing Sally by 19 seconds running 57.47 and 58.06 respectively. You won’t get away with that again Geoff.
Katherine Mortlock loves this race as it’s one of her favouritesbut due to various problems has not been able to train regularly and still completed the course in 1.00.29. Great results all. Keep flying the flag.
