If you look at the photos of the Great Yarmouth 5m Road Race, you might think that it was nice warm summer evening. It was actually a pretty chilly affair with a stiff Northerly breeze blowing which probably had an effect on the times. 10 BVHers took part in the last of the 3 race series and there was some good support en route too.
Scott Walford clinched 4th place overall with 1st in the V45 category and a pb time of 27.34 but the stand out performance of the night went to Simon Partridge who, despite the conditons, managed an excellent PB of 27.38 which placed him 6th overall. For the other members there were 4 personal bests and 2 first timers.
