At Kings Lynn for this years GEAR 10k Michael Eccles, after an 80 mile week of training and playing cricket on Saturday, had an outstanding run to win the race outright in 32.10. After being second on a few occasions this was his first win so that was an extra bonus.
Leanne Finch, after her weeks holiday in York, decided to have a go at the 10k and, like Michael, had a brilliant run. She was second lady overall in a platinum pb time and new club record of 35.38. The holiday obviously worked a treat!

Sam Smith running his first ever race was so pleased with his silver standard 47.17
Stephanie Ellis ran a gold standard pb time of 50.38 and
Sally Porter on her way back from illness ran 65.43.
