Bure Valley Harriers did themselves proud on their first outing to the National Cross Country Relays at Mansfield. Out of a field of 178 the team finished in 71st place.
Sam Coyne was first off in the mad dash at the start not realising you have to do a 100 metres pb to get in a good position!. Sam finished in 85th position in an excellent time of 17.48. Ryan Davidson was next in the firing line and he had a great run pulling the team into 75th position running 18.24. Martin Hewetson brought the team up to 74th place with a strong run in a time of 19.23. Frazer Heasman was the anchor man and on what was probably a well churned up course by then brought the team into 71st position running 19.06. Well done lads.
