Our three members had good racing conditions for this one, with just a mild light breeze, which is most unusual for the east coast.
Simon Partridge, who has been off the racing scene for all of 2024 and just running parkruns most weekends, had a great run to finish 9th overall and first M40-44 in 35.14. We hope to see him on the start line at many more races in the future.
Steph Laurence also had an excellent run to finish 5th lady overall in a 90 second gold standard pb time of 42.19.
Martin Colley getting back to fitness after quite some time off, ran 52.42 which is 2 mins faster than his last 10k, so it’s all coming together.
