Chris Mickleburgh, running his first marathon for Bure Valley Harriers, finished 7th overall in a diamond standard time of 2.45.01. This was 5mins 14 seconds faster than his previous best. Although not quite a club record it is a senior men’s record. Chris did pick up ankle injury at 10 miles and had to run the last 16 miles in pain. Well done Chris for digging in and getting to the finish in such a great time.
