Breckland 10k – May 2026

We had two members at the Breckland 10k: Steven Elvin keeps filling his trophy cabinet as, once again, he was first 60-64 in 39.57 and not too far off his age best time. James Hill also had a great run finishing in a silver standard pb time of 44.08. Good times on this tough course.  Well done both.

Well done to our 11 members running the Gear 10k. There were some excellent results as follow:- Michael Eccles was 6th overall and first V45-49 in a platinum standard 34.39. Great Yarmouth 5 mile race 2 – April 2026

Yet another blustery night on the coast but you must all like the wind as you keep going back for more unless it’s just the chips you love !! Kaunas Marathon – April 2026

Declan Nicol had the reverse conditions to London in the Kaunas, Lithuania Marathon and had to contend with snow and hail. I’m not sure what’s worse the cold or heat. He had a super run finishing in a pb time of 3:47:10 and some excellent pacing too.   Well done Declan!

Battersea 10k – April 2026

Leanne Finch travelled down to one of her favourite racing venues to compete in the Battersea 10k. She is obviously on a roll at the moment as she finished 16th overall and first lady in 36.20. We’ll forgive her the shorts!

North Norfolk Marathon – April 2026

Tom Jordan was hoping to achieve the “good for age” time for the London Marathon which is 2.57. Unfortunately an injury got the better of him.
