Fleet Half Marathon – March 2025

Michael Eccles had an excellent run in the Fleet Half Marathon finishing 11th overall and second M40 in a BVH and age record platinum standard pb of 1.10.30 and only a week away from the 45+ age group. Looks like his marathon training is going to plan! Well done Michael.

Tokyo Marathon – March 2025

One member travelled out to Japan for one of the Big City Marathons: The weather was much hotter than Beth King has been used to but she got to the end feeling strong and finished in a very creditable 4.35. Well done Beth!

Royal Norwich Half Marathon – February 2025.

There were three BVH members running on this quite undulating and not particularly fast course although the good conditions made up for this. National XC Champs – February 2025

Billy Eccles competed in the National Cross Country Champs at the notorious Parliament Hill venue and it was a complete mud bath! Billy, like dad Michael, isn’t a fan of mud and couldn’t get going. Having said that Billy still had a great run to finish 88th out of 319 finishers.

Battersea 10k – February 2025

Leanne Finch, running her first race for 6 months and with 3 months off with various injuries ran the Battersea 10k and said she had fun! In a very busy packed field and in very wet and muddy conditions she finished 26th overall, 2nd lady and first senior lady in 37.48. Well done Leanne. Onward and Upwards.
