George Munday 10k – November 2024

Thomas Abbs and Lee Quibell were our only two members running at this years George Munday. Thomas continues to improve with a diamond standard pb by over a minute in 35.23. Lee Quibell, running with the dreaded BVH cold, ran 39.04 which is only 20secs short of his BVH pb. Well done boys.

Cardiff Cross Country Challenge – November 2024

Two members ventured down to Cardiff for this XC race. Both Michael and Billy Eccles had tough races with very competitive fields. Our three members had good racing conditions for this one, with just a mild light breeze, which is most unusual for the east coast. Billericay 10k – November 2024

We had one member running this one down in Essex, Leanne Botwright, running with her brother.   From Leanne: “This is the first time running together since my brothers stroke 16 months and an amazing recovery. I’m so proud of him. We both ran 55:17 and it felt great to be back together!” Well done both. That is superb.

Fenland 10 Mile – October 2024

We had three members racing this one : Tom Jordan was 9th overall and ran a diamond standard 2 minute pb time of 59.46. Jack Noble just behind Tom in 10th position ran 59. 58, only 14secs shy of a pb. Steven Elvin ran a 4 minute platinum pb time of 64.41. Steve was also 2nd V60. Well done and…
