Well done to our 11 members running the Gear 10k. There were some excellent results as follow:-
Michael Eccles was 6th overall and first V45-49 in a platinum standard 34.39. This was his first 10k as a 45+. It’s great to see Michael getting back to fitness.
Leanne Finch was first lady and, after running her 5th race in two weeks, ran an incredible platinum pb time of 35.27.
Lee Quibell getting back to fitness ran 38.34.
Jack Noble also on his way back ran 38.48.
Thomas Abbs after a long lay off and running his first race as a 40-44 ran a gold standard 40.31.
Joanne Watkins was first in the 40-44 age group and ran a diamond age best time of 41.32.
Cee Cook Ran a pb time of 43.54 which is over a minute faster than her previous best time.
Eva Eccles running her first 10k ran a silver standard 45.27.
Sam Smith, running his first 10k as a 50-54, ran silver standard 48.26.
Belle Watkins wasn’t having a good time today but she finished in 51.02 and with a smile on her face!
Krysia Smith running her first race as a 50-54 and after many months off ran 1.04.59.
