Billy and Michael Eccles were the first members to compete in the new vests in the SEAA main cross country champs at Beckenham.
Billy ran 6000m in the under 17 event and Michael 15000m in the senior men’s race.
Both had excellent runs with Billy finishing 22nd in 19.58 and only 20 seconds off the top 10. Michael in a field of 633 runners finished in 79th position in 50.22.
Well done both.
