Two members ventured down to Cardiff for this XC race.
Both Michael and Billy Eccles had tough races with very competitive fields.
Billy, who was running with the cold that seems to be running riot in BVH just now and with a stitch, finished the 5600m course in 17.48 and 33rd U17. He started off strongly but faded in the latter stages. But typical Billy, who never lets a bad run get him down, is looking forward to next year already.
Dad, Michael, running in the senior and masters 9600m race, had a very strong run to finish 75th overall out of 478 and was 2nd 40+ in 31.49.
Well done both.
