The predicted heavy rain stayed away which was a blessing but there was a strong head wind on the way back to the finish.
Our 5 members running all had great results as follows:-
Leanne Finch had a storming run to finish first lady in a platinum club record time of 29.01. Leanne says she has to sort her pacing out as she went through a mile in 5.30 and 5k in 17.40!
Belle Watkins found it a bit tough but still finished 3rd L15-17 in 39.35.
Beth King finished in 39.40 which is her first 5 miler for BVH but her fastest time by over a minute since 2018. Beth was being paced by Stephen Lee and I think he had a lot of complaining to contend with but he ignored it and did a great job. Sorry about the watch Beth!!

Simon Alcock was pleased with a 50-54 age best time of 43.31.
