You won’t be surprised to learn that it was rather windy on the airbase for this race, so times weren’t as fast as expected.
We only had 6 members entered in the 10k but unfortunately only 5 finished as Louise Paterson had to drop out as she wasn’t feeling very well. Brenda has been in touch with her since and she was ok but still a bit under par.
Paul Ward and Joanne Watkins had excellent runs with Joanne first lady in 42.44 and Paul first VM50 in 39.43.
The others battling the wind were Sarah Bird 49.36. Sally Porter 1.00.59 and Andy Bird 1.08.07.
