30 BVH’ers were on the startline of the Wroxham CC 5k but only 29 finished as Scott Walford had to pull out with a hamstring tear. There were some great results for the club especially from Autumn Hales who took over 30 seconds off her time to run 20.39 and Arron Coe breaking the 20 minute barrier for the first time in 19.45. Faith Viney also had a cracking run breaking the ladies club record in a pb time of 18.38. Sabina Spence also flew the flag for the ladies by winning the 45-49 age group. John Baxter won the 3rd 60-64 trophy in an age record time of 20.08.
Ryan Davidson was 7th overall winning the 3rd 17-39 male catergory in a pb time 16.15. Sam Coyne who was not on top form finished 10th in 16.25. Simon Partridge in 14th place also ran a pb in 16.43. It was great to see our green vests up at the front end of the race. With the help of Laurie Woods, Ryan, Sam and Simon won the bronze senior mens team award.
Other personal best times were achieved by Tara Baxter. 23.42. Karen Wraighte 25.25. Becky Hitchens 26.12. Tracey Bowen-Jones 26.25. Alexandra Haswell 26.29.
