22 BVH’ers were on the start line of ‘The Wroxham 5k’ and 22 finished although a couple did come limping in. But at least they finished.
Sam Coyne and Scott Walford, considering their hard track race on Sunday, had excellent runs. Karyn Bray, who appears to have got over her nerves for racing, ran well to be our first lady over the line in 22.48. Dan Porter was not far behind running a pb time of 22.58. Paul Waters, who normally runs parkruns, turned out for his first road 5k finishing in 23.19 and Sarah Bird, another parkrunner, and in her first 5k road race ran 23.26. Andy Bird, yet another regular parkrunner, and also in his first 5k road race ran 27.01. Sally Porter, not too far off her pb, ran 27.22.
