Fakenham 5K – 2019

There were 6 BVH members on the start line, eager to enjoy an Easter Sunday, which brought an early taste of the summer racing and temperatures of around 20C.

The course was still a short, 1K lap of the town, but with some alterations from 2018, including a tight, hairpin, making the course a touch more difficult. And with a short lap like this, the leaders quickly had lapped runners to navigate as well. But that also makes it a great event for spectators, cheering right the way round the town.

The final roll of BVH finishers was:

P11: Matt Stone: 18m11s (2nd 45-49 male)

P14: Jake Stearman: 18m26s (first 5K for BVH and a gold standard time)

P16: Jack Noble: 18m33s (first 5K for BVH and a gold standard time)

P76: Hannah Stone: 22m40s

P79: Jonathan Edwards: 22m46s

P143: Simon Alcock: 26m20s

Well done everyone – enjoy those Easter chocolate lollies!
